Because we're a brand-new studio, Windows doesn't recognize us yet, so it may show a warning the first time. It's completely safe — here's the 20-second walkthrough. (We're getting the game officially code-signed so this disappears entirely.)
Click Download for Windows. If your browser asks, choose Keep / Keep anyway.
On the blue popup, click More info, then Run anyway. That's the whole trick.
Open your antivirus (Norton, etc.), find Homestead Farm Tycoon in Quarantine/History, and choose Restore or Allow.
The installer runs, adds a desktop shortcut, and opens the launcher. Sign in and you're set.
